Finals Week

Well this week is finals week, I have a pretty good final schedule, one final everyday till Thursday, then I get to go home. I will be home most of the time, because I can get some great hours there. I've just been trying to stay afloat the last couple weeks, have less than 10 pounds to go to my 100 pound mark!!! I'm really excited because this is something that I never thought would happen!!! 100 pounds, I think about it and me and my roomie Jessi were talking and she weighs 109 pounds (she tries to gain weight, but she just can't) and I told her that when I lose 109 pounds, I'm gonna tell everyone that "I lost a Jessi"(hahaha) Well we think it's funny, went over to my buddy Jake's house the other weekend, as Jessi's friends were down from Bemidji, so we wanted them to have a good time, it was hilarious over at Jake's house, I met so many people from my pre-calc class and we just laughed all night long about my professor who's really an idiot!!! It was good a very good time!! Last weekend I went to my friend Emilio's house for his end of the semester formal!! It was great, I loved being able to dress up and look great, and have people tell me how great I look, I have a couple pics that I'm gonna get up sometime. Now I really didn't feel like buying a dress, so I had my old Christmas Ball dress from my Senior year of High School, so I decided to re-do it. I cut it up and just sewed it so it would actually fit me, and everyone thought it looked great. But now it's finals week and I have two finals down and two more to go. My buddies Nick and Jake are coming back from Mississippi for Christmas, as they are on their way to Iraq in the next couple months. So I'm really excited to see them. Also my best gal, Nikki, left this morning for Hawaii, I am super excited for her to be with her husband, but I am sad at the same time because I'm really gonna miss her!!! But congrats honey you finally get to get out of Minnesota!!! Well that's it for now, I don't know when I'll be able to write again but everyone have a great Christmas and a great New Year!!!!

Today is Monday November 28th, 2005. Wow it’s been a while since I wrote in my journals, but things have been up and down the past month. I’m going great, I’ve lost around 80 pounds and I feel great. Went home for deer hunting, shot a doe. Had some fun, came back to Duluth and am trying to stay ahead in school. I made a big decision that is really the best decision I have made in a long time. I decided that med school isn’t something that I am going to be able to handle so I decided to continue with my Psychology major, and go to Graduate school and become a psychologist. I feel so great about this and I know that this is something that I truly want to do. So if I play my cards right I will graduate UMD next year with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree and then attend graduate school to achieve my master’s degree. Which will be about two years after graduating from UMD. I’m really excited for my new future, its still something that I’ve always wanted to do and now I am going to concentrate on it. But that’s something that I’ll talk about when I know more, right now I’m in the beginning stages. But I went home for Nikki’s wedding and let me tell you that was great, I’m so excited for her and her new life. Now she’s in the process of moving to Hawaii!!! And yet I am sad, but I will handle it. The wedding was so beautiful and I know that we all were really happy for both Nikki and Mal. But then the following week was Thanksgiving, that went well, did the mom’s birthday thing and shopping. I had a good time with the friends and worked a little bit. But now I am back in Duluth, finishing up the last three weeks of the semester and then heading back to Brainerd for Christmas, my work already has me on their schedule so I hope I can get some good hours in. But not to much else has been going on around here, just preparing for finals and hoping that the weather will be nice!! (doubt that will happen, we live in Minnesota) But hopefull December will cruise by fast, but have a great time and we'll talk to you all later
