Another update!!

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know what's up the past week. Well things have been pretty exciting around here, things are changing and that's awesome. But the week went good, weekend was great, being able to hang out with the gang. We stayed in Friday night and just had people come over here, I don't think we went to bed until 4am but we had so much fun just being able to watch movies and talk. Saturday was great, I started my Psych paper, and I'm half way done with it (yea) Saturday night I went to my friend Zach's house, which was cool, then we went to my roomies friends house, and sang karaoke!!!!! It was hilarious, but we chilled, did homework on Sunday, I cooked dinner for Heidi and Jessi, then Jake called and wanted to come over so I said sure. Then we watched movies and had a fun night. But any who, another update, I'm still around 75 pounds down, it would help if I stepped on the scale but it's not about the number it's about how I feel. And I feel great. My pants are getting bigger and I realized that I am going to have to buy some soon, or find some. But I had the funniest thing happen the other day, I was filling my gas tank and they asked for my ID and the clerk asked if that was really me, so I explained to him about the surgery and then I showed him another ID so he would know it was me. I laughed so hard, but any ways. Just wanted to update, have a great week everyone, we'll talk to you soon.

Exciting Weekend!!!

So I went home this past weekend to Brainerd, for deer hunting season. Everything was great, the weather was good, the hunting could have been better but that's no big deal. I didn't shoot anything till Sunday evening, right before I was going to come back to Duluth. I was afraid that I wasn't going to be able to get anything and would have to come back next weekend to fill my tag. But out of no where this doe came out along the fenceline that I was on and I got a perfect shot of it. It's a pretty nice size doe, and I'm really happy. My dad was really super happy!!! It was fun to come back to town and continue our family tradition that I truly love. It was really interesting this year because of the weight that I lost, I knew that it would be easier on me in many ways, like walking to my stand, climbing into my stand and other things. But I knew that it was going to be hard because my body gets cold really fast, and I could definetly feel it this weekend. I hate that feeling of being cold all the time, but my support group says that it will more than likely go away in a year or two. That's a long time but I guess that's another price that I pay for surgery, so I'm gonna just tough it out!!!! But another update on me, doing ok been having some pains, but called the surgeon today and asked what I could do. Told me to eat some soup for a couple days then gradually progress back to solid foods, so I am following his advice, he said if that doesn't help then I'll have to come back in and see what's going on in there. So I hope it's nothing serious, that's the last thing that I need right now. But still around 70-75 pounds down, I am going to create a new workout program with my roomate and we are going to start more intense strength training as my bat wings are horrible looking!!! But that'll help me lose more weight in the given months. I have set a goal that before the 1st of January I want to reach my 100 pound mark, which I know I will hit but it's still setting a goal. But that's it for now, gotta go study for my calc test tomorrow so have a wonderful day and I'll write back soon!!!!!!
